Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The name was given to her by her parents for the town where she grew as a child. Michel Horowitz' father was editor and author and editor, as was Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder believes she is Jewish has a connection to Ryder's Jewish father. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder's family moved from Mendocino County to California at the age of seven. They lived in a place without electric power. Ryder became an avid book reader because there was television. Ryder was enrolled in acting classes when Ryder was 12, in the American Conservatory Theatre. Lucas was released in 1986 and Ryder, then just 15 years old, was offered an acting job as a lead actor. Ryder was bullied at high school. Her hope was that acting could bring change. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. The actress continued to chase her ambitions. She got her break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder was a star in numerous films. In 1993, she was awarded an Oscar Prize for The Age of Innocence.
