Jillian Shennessy (born on November 25, 1968) is a Canadian actress, singer who made an impact in American television. She was the main character in the American TV series Law & Order, where she played the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh over six seasons. Hennessy also showed off her talent in movies like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. She also produced and wrote these movies. Hennessy started her career as an actor in Dead Ringers with her sister. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990.
